Ellie Blom

Ellie Blom is a licensed Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine in the state of North Carolina and is board-certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. 

She earned both her Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Classical Chinese Medicine from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville, NC.

Prior to her studies in Chinese Medicine, Ellie earned a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics, Nutrition, and Food Science with a concentration in Integrative Health from the University of Vermont. With a background in nutrition and a love of food, she has naturally been drawn to supporting digestive health; specializing in leaky gut syndrome, IBS/IBD, food sensitivities, constipation, and gastrointestinal pain.

Ellie is dedicated to working with individuals with mental and emotional health challenges and trauma-related disorders. Through her studies with 88th-generation Daoist priest Jeffrey Yuen of the Jade Purity lineage, Ellie gained training in a wide range of channel systems and clinical approaches that are especially effective.

She works with those of all ages navigating menstrual health, with pain, irregularity, fertility challenges, and offers compassionate support throughout pregnancy and postpartum

Passionate about supporting individuals with a wide range of health concerns, Ellie believes that honoring the mind–body connection is integral to whole-person wellbeing, and brings warmth, acceptance, and curiosity to her work. She combines acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and Western supplements with holistic nutrition, and lifestyle guidance to craft comprehensive and highly personalized treatment plans for her patients.
