I can't believe it has taken me so long to send you news of our baby’s arrival. She was born the Monday following our last appointment (good timing). My water broke on Sunday at 2:30, I headed to the birth center around 10PM and she was born early Monday at 1:42 AM. It was a really fast labor and even though she was 9lbs 15oz when she was born (with a hand up by her face nonetheless), it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it might be. So, thank you thank you thank you for all the work you did to get me ready, it surely helped. Both my friends on either side of me had to be induced (and one ended up having a C-section), so I am extremely grateful for helping me create a safe, quick and (relatively) easy passage for our baby. I wanted to let you know the baby arrived last Thursday. I was induced on Tuesday evening. There were about two hours of pushing and the birth went smoothly. Our daughter arrived healthy and beautiful at 6 pounds 15 ounces. I have attached a picture so you could see her. Thanks so much for all your assistance. I hope you are doing super well. I am sorry that it has taken me this long to email you. I wanted to send you a brief update. The twins came flying out (literally, I had the first one in triage!) early morning on January 17th. My water broke at 1:45 am and the first one was out at 3:07am! I was able to deliver both vaginally and they had great birth weights with the girl weighing almost 7lbs and the boy almost 6lbs. We came home from the hospital on Tuesday morning, the 19th. Thanks so much! I've meant many times to update you on our "status" ;) but, well, life is always busy! From our IVF cycle that gave us our two boys we had 2 frozen embryos; the fertility doctor told us it would be "really unusual" (with undertone of impossible) to have all 4 of our total of 4 embryos that came out of that cycle become a viable pregnancy/baby (we asked because we were a little skittish of having another set of twins, but also couldn't bring ourselves to not give the other 2 embryos a chance.) My embryo quality from the IVF cycle we did before we met you was pretty terrible (lots of eggs, but bad quality). Well, guess what?!! I think he was pretty shocked when he did our ultrasound and saw twins again. We believe that each one of our 4 blessings (and the hardiness of all 4 embryos) is because of your skill and knowledge, and the changes you prompted us to make in our diets and health... so we are forever thankful to you! Just thought you might like an update: baseline ultrasound revealed SIXTEEN potential follicles!!!!!!! (I hope you realize that I am not normally one for exclamation points, but this rather seems to merit an overabundance thereof, to match the follicles). I know they won't all be viable, or develop; but this is almost twice my largest number since we started, so it's pretty exciting :>) (I'm also not one for emoticons, but the same applies~)

I had my blood test yesterday and it was positive!!! My hCG level was 136.3 and my progesterone >45, which they said was fine. I go back tomorrow to get it checked again.
